1 Cash - Daguan Tongbao

Daguan Tongbao coinage was issued under Emperor Huizong of the Song dynasty, whose reign is among the most numismatically remarkable in Chinese history — Huizong himself is credited with designing at least one of the script styles used on his own coinage, an almost unparalleled circumstance in world numismatics. The Daguan period (1107–1110) was brief, and its cash issues were produced in multiple script variations, with the slender gold-thread style considered the most refined and directly attributable to imperial calligraphic intervention.

Huizong was ultimately captured by Jurchen Jin forces during the Jingkang Incident of 1127, dying in northern captivity in 1135.
