| Obverse description | Cast copper cash coin featuring four Chinese characters arranged in cruciform fashion around a central square hole, read in the traditional order: top, bottom, right, left. The characters 太平興寶 (Thái Bình Hưng Bảo) are rendered in regular script (kaishu) and stand in moderate relief against a flat field. The obverse is bordered by a plain raised rim. The casting is characteristic of early Vietnamese numismatic production under the Đinh dynasty, with broad, somewhat irregular strokes reflecting the hand-finishing typical of the period. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is entirely plain and uninscribed, presenting a smooth, flat field interrupted only by the raised inner rim surrounding the central square hole and the outer border rim. This uniface design is consistent with Vietnamese cast cash coinage of the Đinh dynasty period. |
