| Reverse description | The reverse displays a central square perforation flanked by two sets of Chinese ideograms in Regular script, arranged vertically along the vertical axis of the coin. Above the central hole appears the single mint indicator character Chun (春), identifying the Qichun Mint, while below the hole a two-character reign-year notation in the form Shi Si (十四, meaning Year 14, corresponding to 1187) is inscribed. The field is otherwise plain, enclosed by a raised inner rim around the square hole and a rounded outer rim, consistent with standard Southern Song iron cash production. |
