| Obverse description | Central square hole flanked by four Chinese ideograms arranged in cruciform reading order: top to bottom and right to left, together forming the reign title and denomination legend 景興通寶 (Cảnh Hưng Thông Bảo). The characters are cast in low relief within a plain inner rim, surrounded by a raised outer rim. The script is regular-style (kaishu) Chinese calligraphy typical of Vietnamese cash coinage of the Lê dynasty period. |

| Reverse description | Plain reverse field with a central square hole and a single Chinese ideogram 中 (Trung, meaning 'middle' or serving as a mint or batch mark) positioned above the square hole. The character is cast in low relief within an otherwise blank field, bounded by a plain raised outer rim. The reverse surface shows the characteristic smooth finish of cast Vietnamese cash coinage. |
