背面描述 Plain reverse displaying a central square perforation bordered by a raised square inner rim, all enclosed within a plain raised outer rim. The reverse field is entirely blank and undecorated, consistent with standard Vietnamese cash coinage of the Lê dynasty period. The surface shows natural casting texture with areas of green patination characteristic of aged copper alloy.

附加信息

Cảnh Hưng was the reign title of Emperor Lê Hiển Tông, whose 47-year reign (1740–1786) was the longest of the Later Lê dynasty — and among the most turbulent, dominated by the Trịnh lords who held actual power while the emperor reigned in name only. The Trịnh controlled the northern mints, and cash coin production during this period was prolific to the point of debasement, with numerous subvariants distinguished by minor die details — dots, crescents, and strokes added to the reverse that modern collectors use to classify what the Trịnh administration likely used to track mint output or authorizations.

The dot variant in this series remains unassigned in Barker, which is itself telling. Many dot-marked pieces circulated alongside unmarked types without distinction in trade.
