| 背面描述 | Plain reverse (uniface), featuring only the raised inner square rim surrounding the central square perforation and the smooth outer rim. The field is entirely blank, exhibiting a rough, unworked surface with green and brown patina typical of cast Vietnamese cash coins of this period. |

Cảnh Hưng was the longest-reigning monarch of the Later Lê dynasty, ruling nominally from 1740 to 1786 — though real power rested with the Trịnh lords throughout. The sheer duration of his reign meant cash coins bearing his era name were struck in enormous quantities across multiple decades, with considerable variation in calligraphic style and casting quality. The "contracted Bảo" variety reflects one of several deliberate script abbreviations that emerged as production volume increased and molds were cut with less exacting standards.
