| Obverse description | Cast bronze cash coin featuring a central square perforation surrounded by a plain raised rim on both the inner and outer borders. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in cruciform fashion around the central hole, read top-to-bottom then right-to-left: 景 (top), 興 (bottom), 通 (right), 寶 (left), rendering the legend 景興通寶 (Cảnh Hưng Thông Bảo). The characters are rendered in moderate relief against a flat field, exhibiting the characteristic style of Vietnamese Lê dynasty cash coinage. The coin's surface shows the typical granular texture associated with sand-cast production. |

| Reverse description | Plain uniface reverse featuring a central square perforation flanked by two concentric raised rims — an inner rim surrounding the square hole and an outer rim defining the coin's edge — with a broad, entirely blank field between them. No inscriptions, symbols, or decorative devices are present. The flat, featureless field is typical of Vietnamese Lê dynasty cash coinage of this period. |
