(Translation: Cảnh Hưng Thông Bảo — "Universal currency of the Cảnh Hưng era" [reign of Lê Hiển Tông, 1740–1786])
Reverse description Central square hole flanked on the left and right by two symmetrical archaic or seal-script characters of uncertain reading, each consisting of stylized curvilinear strokes resembling scrolled or wave-like forms. The characters are separated by the square perforation and are positioned horizontally across the reverse field. A plain inner rim and a raised outer rim frame the design, with no additional ornamentation above or below the hole.
