| Reverse description | Central square perforation surrounded by a raised square border, with four incuse trident-like or tamgha symbols disposed symmetrically in each quadrant of the field around the central hole. The symbols are deeply impressed into the flat, unadorned flan and likely represent dynastic or tribal emblems of the Arslanid rulers. The reverse field is otherwise plain, consistent with the utilitarian cash-coin format common to Sogdian coinage of the period. |
