| Reverse description | Plain reverse field of cast bronze with the standard inner rim surrounding the central square perforation and a raised outer rim. A single Chinese character 荊 (Jing), identifying the Jingzhou mint, is cast in raised relief in regular script to the right of the square hole. The remainder of the reverse field is smooth and largely featureless, with scattered green patination consistent with the obverse, typical of late Tang anonymous mint-marked cash coinage. |
