Reverse description Plain reverse with a central square perforation framed by a raised inner rim. A single Chinese character 京 (Jing), rendered in regular script (kaishu), appears in low relief above the central hole in the upper field. A crescent-shaped incuse or raised mark is positioned below the central perforation in the lower field, serving as the mint-identifying privy mark characteristic of this Jingzhao issue. The outer rim is raised and plain.
