Obverse description Conjoined busts of Emperor Charles VI and Empress Elisabeth Christine facing right, rendered in high relief with fine drapery detail. The truncation of the arm bears the engraver's initials IM, and the initials GBA appear beneath the busts. The imperial effigies are portrayed in a classical Baroque style typical of early eighteenth-century Neapolitan coinage. The encircling Latin legend identifies the imperial couple.
