| Obverse description | Tall, narrow note on aged washi paper enclosed within a single-rule rectangular border. At the top, a vignette of a circular cash coin rendered in outline, with a square central hole, surrounded by concentric rings. Below, large brushwork kanji characters reading 壱分錢 (one bu sen) occupy the central field, with smaller domain-circulation inscriptions flanking them. The lower register contains a square seal block with interlocking fret-pattern decoration typical of Edo-period hansatsu seals. |
