| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the papal arms of Innocent VIII (Cybo family coat of arms): a quartered shield featuring horizontal bands in the upper half and a diagonal chequered band (fusilly) in the lower half, surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys. The heraldic device is rendered in the late Gothic style typical of hammered Papal coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the armorial composition, reading the pope's name and title. The irregular flan exhibits characteristic hammered fabric with a slightly raised border. |

| Reverse description | Facing bust of Saint Peter depicted as an aged, bearded apostle with nimbus, shown enthroned within a boat or barque amid stylised waves, evoking the iconographic theme of the Navicella. The saint holds the keys of heaven in his left hand, a common attribute in Papal mint coinage of the Marche region. The figure is rendered in a robust late-medieval style with visible drapery folds. A continuous Latin legend encircles the design, identifying Saint Peter and the March of Ancona. A small heraldic device appears to the left of the central figure in the field. |
