| Obverse description | Central field displays the Bolivian coat of arms, featuring a rectangular shield divided into quarters with a central oval, flanked by Bolivian flags, cannons, muskets, and an axe, surmounted by the Andean condor with wings spread. A wreath of laurel and olive branches frames the shield on either side, tied at the base. Below the shield appear nine stars arranged in an arc, representing the departments of Bolivia. The peripheral legend reads REPUBLICA DE BOLIVIA along the upper rim. Varieties are distinguished by wreath size and star count, with wide wreaths bearing four leaves at the apex and normal wreaths bearing two. |
