| Reverse description | A double-headed imperial eagle with both heads crowned and the bodies shown with spread wings filling the central field, rendered in the characteristic style of mid-17th-century German small coinage. The two crowned heads face outward to either side, with the orb or shield on the breast. The eagle is contained within a plain inner circle, and the surrounding peripheral legend, separated by stops, encircles the design and proclaims the coin as a new issue of the County of Bentheim. |
