Reverse description The reverse displays the original Spanish Colonial 2 Reales host coin design, showing partial legends including 'FERD·VII·D' along the curved upper border, with remnants of the crowned Spanish royal arms and the characteristic pillars-and-waves design of the milled coinage of the Indies visible in the field. The cut triangular shape truncates much of the original reverse design, but the denticulated border along the arc is partially preserved. The surface shows the characteristic worn and chopmarked appearance typical of circulated necessity coinage of the Caribbean.
