| Beschrijving keerzijde | Reverse displaying the single-word mint name 'اصفهان' (Isfahan) in bold Nasta'liq script, struck prominently across the center of the coin field. The legend is arranged in a single line or slightly spread inscription typical of Safavid bisti and small denomination issues. The flan is irregular and slightly concave in areas, consistent with the hand-hammered technique employed at the Isfahan mint during the reign of Shah Safi I. The field is otherwise plain, with no additional decorative elements or border. The deeply incised letterforms show characteristic calligraphic elegance despite the modest size and weight of the denomination. |
