Descrizione del rovescio	A balance scale (scales of justice) depicted in full, centrally positioned within the brass-plated steel inner disc of the bimetallic coin. The scale is shown with two equal pans suspended from a horizontal beam, supported on a central post with a base, symbolising justice and equality. The numeral '1' appears to the left in the outer nickel-plated steel ring, the Latin legend 'Birr' to the right, and the Ge'ez inscription 'አንድ ብር' (One Birr) along the lower arc of the ring. The Ge'ez legend '፩ ብር' appears along the upper arc of the ring.
