Reverse description The central field displays the denomination in two currency units rendered in Dutch: 'EEN BELGA' above and '5 FRANK' below, with the date to the right. The design is framed by a wreath composed of an olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right, surmounted by a royal crown at the apex. The engraver's initials 'A.E.GR.' appear at the base of the design, attributing the work to Alexander Everaerts. The overall composition is symmetrical and formal, consistent with Belgian coinage conventions of the interwar period.
