| Obverse description | The nickel brass plated steel centre features the national coat of arms of Panama in high relief, depicting a quartered shield with a cornucopia, a winged condor displayed above, two stars flanking the base, and the motto scroll 'PRO MUNDI BENEFICIO'. A row of nine stars arches above the shield within the centre disc. The surrounding nickel plated steel ring bears the legend 'REPUBLICA DE PANAMA' in the upper arc and 'UN BALBOA' in the lower arc, both in raised Latin lettering. |
