| Obverse description | Central field displays the elaborate papal coat of arms of Clement XIII, featuring a quartered shield surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys of Saint Peter. The shield incorporates heraldic elements including towers and a cross, rendered in a bold baroque style characteristic of mid-18th century pontifical coinage. The arms are flanked by the crossed keys tied with a cord, and the whole device is surrounded by a finely toothed border. The circular Latin legend CLEMENS XIII. P. M. runs along the periphery of the coin. |
