Reverse description Central field bears the three-line Latin value inscription VN BAIOCCO ROM arranged within an open palm wreath, whose fronds sweep upward from the base and meet at the top of the design. The wreath, composed of elongated palm leaves, frames the denomination legend and lends the composition a classical ecclesiastical character. A fine toothed rim borders the entire reverse. The design is typical of Papal States copper coinage of the mid-eighteenth century.
