Opmerkingen

Series 3 was the last issue to carry the likeness of Rama VII — Prajadhipok — even though production ran into the reign of Rama VIII. The timing matters: Prajadhipok abdicated in March 1935 following prolonged constitutional disputes with the People's Party government in Bangkok, and notes bearing his image were already in press at De La Rue when the throne passed to the nine-year-old Ananda Mahidol. The government chose continuity over a costly plate redesign.

De La Rue's watermark security on this series is a simple laid-pattern mark, modest by the firm's own standards of the period.
