| Reverse description | Central device depicts the Airavata (Erawan), the mythological three-headed elephant of Siamese royal symbolism, shown full-figure and facing forward, surmounted by a tiered ceremonial crown and standing upon a pedestal. The three trunks are lowered, and the design is executed in bold high relief. Thai inscriptions in traditional script surround the central device: 'สยามรัฐ' (Kingdom of Siam) to the upper left, 'ร.ศ.๑๒๗' (Rattanakosin Era 127) to the upper right, 'หนึ่ง บาท' (One Baht) at the lower right, and additional Thai numerals at the lower left. The composition is enclosed by a raised beaded border. |
