| Reverse description | The Royal Coat of Arms of Thailand (Garuda emblem of Siam) occupies the central field, featuring a shield supported by two elephants and surmounted by a radiant crown, with traditional Thai architectural elements in the background. The legend รัฐบาลไทย (Government of Thailand) arcs across the upper field, while the denomination หนึ่ง บาท (One Baht) is divided left and right of the central device. The date in the Buddhist Era calendar พ.ศ. ๒๔๙๓ appears in the lower exergue. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |

| Additional information |
This 1950 pattern was struck during the period when Thailand was actively redesigning its coinage following Bhumibol Adulyadej's formal coronation and the postwar reorganization of the Royal Thai Mint. Patterns from this transitional phase were produced in multiple compositions and sizes as the government evaluated specifications before committing to circulating production — the 27mm copper-nickel format was ultimately rejected in favor of smaller dimensions for the issued series.
