| Obverse description | A plain cross with pellets in the angles occupies the central field, enclosed within a raised inner circle. The surrounding legend, separated from the inner circle by a narrow annular border, reads AVG BARBADICO DVX, identifying the Doge Agostino Barbarigo. The legends are rendered in Gothic Latin script typical of late 15th-century Venetian coinage. The overall style is consistent with the rudimentary hammered fabric characteristic of Venetian subsidiary copper issues of the period. |

| Reverse description | The winged Lion of Saint Mark is depicted passant to the right, holding an open gospel book before it; a shield is visible at the lion's shoulder. The figure occupies the central field of the coin, with the surrounding circular legend SANCTVS MARCVS VENETI identifying the patron saint of Venice. The design is executed in the flat, somewhat schematic style typical of hammered Venetian copper coinage of the late 15th century. A horizontal ground line is visible beneath the lion. |
