| Obverse description | A plain cross with pellets in the angles occupies the central field, enclosed within a raised inner circle. The surrounding legend, separated from the inner circle by a narrow annular border, reads AVG BARBADICO DVX, identifying the Doge Agostino Barbarigo. The legends are rendered in Gothic Latin script typical of late 15th-century Venetian coinage.
