| Description du revers | The crowned Saxon coat of arms, a quartered shield with the diagonal band of the House of Wettin, is centrally displayed on a stepped plinth and surmounted by the royal crown. Two standing figures in traditional mining attire flank the shield as supporters: a miner to the left holding a hammer and wearing a cap, and a second miner to the right carrying a mallet, both depicted in period dress. The upper legend reads SEGEN DES BERGBAUS (Blessing of Mining), while the lower inscription, divided by the date, reads EIN THALER 1860 XXX EIN PFD. F., denoting the denomination and fineness. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
