Obverse description Laureate bust of Marcus Aurelius facing left, rendered in a barbarous style characteristic of Germanic imitative coinage. The effigy displays a stylized laureate wreath and draped shoulders, with the portrait exhibiting the crude, abstracted workmanship typical of non-Roman tribal die-cutters. A partially legible Latin legend, rendered in debased lettering, encircles the bust in the field.
