Obverse description Central field features a trident (trishul) flanked by a crescent moon to the left and a rayed sun to the right, with a pair of crossed khukri knives (kukris) below. The Devanagari legend of King Tribhuvana Bir Bikram Shah Dev encircles the design along the periphery, accompanied by the Vikrama Samvat date 1992. Floral sprays appear at the lower left and lower right of the border, and the rim is defined by a continuous beaded border.
