Beschrijving voorzijde Central field dominated by a detailed depiction of the Charminar, the iconic four-minaret gateway monument of Hyderabad, rendered in fine relief with its characteristic arches, minarets, and upper structure clearly delineated. A rectangular cartouche surmounts the monument bearing the Hyderabad mint mark and regnal year. The Persian legend 'Asaf Jah' appears to the right of the monument in elegant Nasta'liq script, with additional calligraphic inscriptions flanking the Charminar on both sides. The Hijri date appears in the lower exergue beneath the monument. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a richly ornamented field of interlaced Nasta'liq calligraphy arranged in a symmetrical foliate composition. A central circular medallion bearing the tughra or seal of Mir Usman Ali Khan, Nizam of Hyderabad, is set within the elaborate interlocking script panels. The surrounding calligraphic text states the denomination 'Yak Ashrafi' (One Ashrafi), the mint epithet 'Zarb Farkhunda Hyderabad' (Struck at the Auspicious Hyderabad), and the regnal year 'Sana 39 Julus Maimanat Manus' (Year 39 of the Auspicious Reign). The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border, presenting a highly decorative and distinctly Islamic aesthetic.
