| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse displays multiple lines of bold Nastaliq calligraphy in Arabic script filling the entire field, arranged within an oval cartouche framed by a raised border. The central legend references the ruling authority of Brijis Qadr, King of Awadh, with the royal title rendered in deeply incused flowing script. A date in abjad or Eastern Arabic numerals appears in the lower register, below the main cartouche dividing line. Diamond-shaped ornamental punctuation marks are interspersed between lines of text as decorative separators. The overall style is consistent with late Mughal-derived coinage practice employed at provincial mints during the turbulent period of 1857–1858. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a prominent crescent moon motif enclosing a multi-pointed star or rosette at its centre, occupying the upper right portion of the field in bold relief. To the left of the crescent, the regnal year is inscribed in Eastern Arabic numerals. Below the central design, a flowing Nastaliq legend in Arabic script identifies the mint name, Najibabad, separated from surrounding inscriptions by a raised horizontal line. The lower register contains additional textual elements consistent with the mint and date formula standard to Awadh gold coinage of this period. The composition of the reverse typifies the hybrid Mughal-Nawabi artistic tradition characteristic of late Awadh issues. |
