Obverse description Central raised disk bearing a radiate sun with fourteen rays extending outward toward a plain border, all within a broad, flat field. The solar motif is rendered in bold, low relief characteristic of early Italian cast bronze coinage. The surface shows the irregular texture typical of the casting technique employed by central Umbrian mints of this period.
