Reverse description Central device composed of a sword and a bishop's key crossed in saltire beneath a small crown, the combined heraldic emblem of the Bishopric of Dorpat. The crossed implements are depicted in a schematic, flat style typical of hammered Livonian artigs of this era. The charge is positioned centrally within a circular field enclosed by a beaded or linear border. A Gothic uncial legend surrounds the central motif reading MONETA · DARP ·, abbreviating Moneta Darpatensis. The die engraving is characteristic of the rough but expressive style common to Baltic ecclesiastical minting of the early 15th century.
