| Reverse description | Central device depicting a crossed sword and key — the heraldic arms of the Bishopric of Dorpat — beneath a branch or stylised foliage motif, with a small circle positioned below, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The combination of the sword and key as episcopal symbols is characteristic of Livonian episcopal coinage. A peripheral legend in uncial characters surrounds the entire composition, identifying the issuing authority and mint. The flan is irregular and the strike uneven, consistent with hammered production techniques of the era. |
