| Reverse description | A hollow or voided cross occupies the centre of the field, its four arms extending to a beaded inner circle and dividing the space into four quadrants, each quadrant containing a cluster of raised pellets arranged in a triangular grouping. The cross is plain and boldly struck, consistent with hammered coinage of the Livonian Order. A circular legend in uncial Latin script surrounds the beaded border, reading MONETA · REVALIE ·, identifying the coin as a product of the Reval mint. Punctuation stops between words vary by die variety and serve as chronological markers within the series. |
