Reverse description A stylised six-armed decorative cross in high relief occupies the central field, with each arm terminating in ornate, flared Gothic-revival finials. Clusters of stylised lily or trefoil blossoms are placed in each of the six angles formed by the arms of the cross. The Roman numeral I, denoting the denomination, appears within a lobed central medallion at the intersection of the arms. The circumferential legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI arcs along the upper periphery, while ARGENTEUS appears along the lower periphery, with the fineness mark 1000 inscribed at the base between two small floral stops.
