Reverse description Central device consisting of an elaborate Gothic cross composed of four ornate flaring arms, each terminating in trumpet-like flourishes decorated with floral and foliate motifs in high relief. The numeral I appears at the centre of the cross within a cusped medallion, and the denomination mark 1000 is inscribed at the base of the central vertical arm. The circumferential legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI arcs across the upper field, while ARGENTEUS is inscribed in the lower field, all lettering in clean Roman capitals against a darkened background field.
