Reverse description A bold six-armed cross occupies the central field, its arms terminating in stylized fleur-de-lis finials with foliate lily sprays adorning each of the six angles between the arms. At the center of the cross, within a scalloped medallion, the Roman numeral I denotes the denomination. The fineness indicator 1000 appears at the base of the cross below the central medallion. The peripheral legend, separated by small rosette stops at the base, reads PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI to the left and ARGENTEUS to the lower right.
