| Beschrijving keerzijde | A stylized ornamental cross occupies the central field, its four arms terminating in elaborate foliate flourishes adorned with oak or vine leaves, rendered in a decorative Art Nouveau style. A small circular medallion at the center of the cross bears the Roman numeral I, denoting the denomination. The legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI arcs along the upper periphery, while ARGENTEUS is inscribed along the lower periphery, both in bold Latin capitals. The figure 1000 appears in small characters at the base of the cross, below center. Two small rosette or star ornaments flank the lower legend as decorative stops, and the design is enclosed within a plain raised rim. |

The "Aureus Magnus Aurum Divinum" designation and the X# prefix place this squarely in the territory of privately issued fantasy pieces — struck not under Bundesbank authority but by private mints producing medallic silver for collectors during the early 1970s bullion enthusiasm. The X# catalog series covers exactly these non-circulating locals and fantasies, and X#M259 confirms it never held legal tender status in the Federal Republic.
