| Opmerkingen |
Indergadh was a minor zamindari-grade princely state in the Central India Agency, and its wartime cash coupons are among the more obscure emergency issues from the 1939–45 period. Many of the smaller Indian states resorted to locally produced scrip during the war when small-denomination coins became scarce — metal was diverted to the war effort and official mintage of fractional coinage effectively collapsed across much of British India.
At 50 × 43 mm, this is genuinely tiny — smaller than a matchbox. The physical format alone suggests hand-cut or simply printed stock rather than anything produced by a professional security printer.
