备注

The United Services Officers' Club in Rangoon issued a series of low-denomination tokens in paper form for canteen and mess use during the immediate postwar period — a common enough practice in British military and colonial club environments, but one that rarely produced surviving examples given how aggressively these were redeemed or discarded once the club account was settled. The anna denomination places this firmly within the pre-decimal Indian currency system still in use in Burma before its monetary separation from India was fully consolidated.

Burma's postwar reconstruction between 1945 and 1948 was administratively chaotic enough that informal scrip of this kind filled real gaps in small-change availability.
