Reverse description Central field features the national symbol of Pakistan: a large crescent moon opening to the right with a five-pointed star nestled within its arc, both rendered in bold relief. The Arabic denomination legend ایک آنہ is inscribed along the upper periphery in Nasta'liq script, flanked by two small five-pointed stars at either side. The value ONE ANNA is inscribed in two lines in the lower central field in Latin lettering. Two symmetrical foliate sprays rise from the base to frame the central motif, meeting at the bottom in a small decorative knot. The design is enclosed within a beaded border that follows the scalloped outline of the coin.
