| Obverse description | Central field features a large ornate tughra-style calligraphic device rendering the Urdu legend حکومتِ پاکستان (Government of Pakistan) in an interlaced, cursive composition. Above the calligraphic device, the national emblem's crescent and five-pointed star are prominently displayed in the upper field. The Latin legend GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN curves along the right periphery of the scalloped flan, following the contour of the twelve-lobed edge. The overall design reflects the early post-independence Pakistani coinage aesthetic, combining Islamic calligraphic tradition with Western typographic elements. |
