正面描述	Printed in dark brown on cream paper, the note is enclosed within a rectangular border with crescent-and-star devices at each corner, reflecting the Islamic character of the Kalat State. A central scalloped cartouche contains the numeral "1" flanked by the syllables "AN" and "NA", with "INDIA" above and multilingual inscriptions in Urdu and Devanagari script along the inner rim, including the date 1941. The state name appears vertically in the left margin in English, the denomination vertically in the right margin, and Urdu legends run horizontally along the upper and lower borders.
