| Obverse description | Three small adjacent shields of arms arranged in a triangular grouping: the arms of Mainz positioned at upper left, Worms at upper right, and a quartered escutcheon of Winneburg and Beilstein bearing a central inescutcheon of Metternich at lower center. An electoral hat (Kurhut) surmounts the arrangement, while crossed palm branches adorn the area below. The composition is rendered in a bold baroque heraldic style typical of late 17th-century German ecclesiastical coinage. |

| Reverse description | A four-line Latin inscription occupies the center of the field, reading the denomination, date, and mintmaster's initials, all enclosed within a finely detailed laurel wreath tied at the base. The numeral I appears at the top line, followed by ALBVS, the date 1679, and the mintmaster's initials MF at the foot of the inscription. A beaded inner border frames the wreath, and the coin displays crisp milled edges consistent with the mechanized production of the Mainz mint in this period. |
