Obverse description Crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed at center, with wings spread and heads facing outward, set within a beaded inner circle. The eagle bears a shield on its breast. The surrounding legend reads REIP FRANCOFVRT, referencing the Republic of Frankfurt, distributed around the periphery within the outer border. The overall style is consistent with late German Renaissance hammered silver coinage of the mid-seventeenth century.
