The mint name Ganja (گنجه) is clearly stated, identifying the issuing authority. The date is rendered in Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded (dotted) border. The irregular, roughly circular flan is consistent with the hammered technique employed for Caucasian Khanate coinage of this period. |
