| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field occupied by a two-line Persian and Arabic legend in nasta'liq script within a rectangular cartouche formed by ruled horizontal lines, reading 'Ya Karim' above and the mint name 'Zarb Ganja' below. The AH date 1188 appears in the lower register beneath the cartouche. Floral and pellet ornamental devices frame the composition, consistent with the decorative style of late 18th-century Caucasian hammered silver coinage. The irregular flan and bold relief lettering are typical of the Ganja mint output of this period. |
