| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing the Shahada in bold Persian-script calligraphy arranged across the central field in multiple horizontal registers, divided by ruled lines. The legend reads the Islamic profession of faith along with the AH date 1139. The script is rendered in a vigorous naskh hand typical of Safavid-era and successor-state coinage, with decorative rosette or pellet ornaments flanking the inscribed bands. The irregular flan edges show characteristic die-struck flow lines consistent with hand-hammered production. No figural imagery appears; the design is entirely epigraphic. |
